FMX (FM Extended)

FMX is an FM cartridge music driver for the Commodore 64.    This allows you to write music for the FM Sound Expander or FM-YAM cartridges using any standard SID writing tools.    The driver converts SID music data to FM in real-time while playing.   The SID chip can also be combined with FM channels to create interesting new sounds.

The archive contains source code with instructions and executable demos for the C64.   The DASM compiler is required for creating new music, though only requires editing tables rather than assembly language.
